Onze 5-stappenaanpak voor een succesvolle Tableau-implementatie

Step 1: Determining the Minimum Viable Product

First, we need to determine together which data analyses we want to perform with Tableau. During a brainstorming session, we bring together your knowledge of your business with our Business Intelligence expertise. Using whiteboards, we first let the creativity run free, after which we conclude the session(s) with a concrete plan. An essential part of the Tableau implementation. We call this plan the Minimum Viable Product (MVP): the most relevant analyses with which we want to achieve results quickly.

Step 2: Developing the MVP analyses

The next step in the Tableau implementation is that we develop the MVP analyses. If you want, we can even do this together with one or more of your business analysts. We install and configure Tableau (on-premise or in the Tableau Cloud), connect data from different data sources and develop the dashboards that are part of the MVP. By comparing these first analyses with your existing reports, we check and validate the data directly. This way you know for sure that your data is correct.

Step 3: Presentation of the analyses

Once the analyses have been developed, we present them to the stakeholders within your organization. We also provide a short workshop so that you can get started with adjusting existing dashboards or developing completely new dashboards. Because the analyses have already been validated, we also provide the necessary people with access so that they can use them on a daily basis.

Step 4: Further development

The most relevant analyses have been delivered! In addition, you not only have access to the reports, you have also learned how to expand and adjust dashboards. Because you and your colleagues have experienced the power of Tableau yourself, you have learned about the opportunities and possibilities of BI. We can now expand existing dashboards and start using Tableau for new departments and processes.

Step 5: Aftercare

After the Tableau implementation is completed, Cadran will continue to support you in the field of BI & Analytics. Are you running into problems or do you simply not have enough time to make the necessary analyses? Or do you want your employees to be trained in the use of Tableau? Then we will be happy to come by and help you. Even if one day it is decided that you want to use predictive analytics, we will be happy to think along with you.
